In this book, a collaboration
between the poet Alberto Santamaría, the artist Sara
Huete and the printer Alastair Carmichael, we set out to produce
a sensitive and elegant edition of the poems of José
de Ciria y Escalante (1903-1924), a young ‘ultraista’
poet, friend of Federico García Lorca, who at his early
death left a handful of exquisite poems.
